no, you will need to order the make of car to get the proper fit in the all seasons covers because the large car covers will only fit a normal saloon car

I've got mine on a Subaru Imprezza and it's only just tall enough. I don't think it would work with a Discovery

Question
Is this suitable for a 2005 Audi A3 Sportback (5dr)?
The manufacturer's details say the car is 4.2m long (max) but the 5dr has an almost estate-like back (ie. it is quite high almost to the very rear of the vehicle and then almost vertical at the rear, rather than sloping downwards as with a conventional hatchback or a saloon). Many thanks

Hi, I've used the large on a Subaru Imprezza which has a low rear spoiler. It only just fits. I doubt it would work with an estate type back

Question
Which way up does the cover go,
There are several seams that run along the car cover from front to back and also across the car from left to right, Should these seams be on the inside or outside (visable) when the cover is in use covering the vehicle

I always make sure the seams are on the underside and not showing, of course when you have the cover on you will see if it fits properly or not as it is elasticated at the ends and the elastication should be on the underside not on the outside of the cover.

I put the seams on the inside on first use...but then as long as you always use it the same way it should be fine...always make sure the dry side is against the car.

The grey seams should be facing the outside (not touching the car), so as not to scratch the car when you are pulling the cover to fit. There is a small vertical seam in the centre of the front bumper to tell you which end is the front.

If the car is going to be left outside like mine is, there should be no problems at all, the all seasons cover is "what it says" of course if it is a convertible make sure you put a large cotton blanket over the roof of the car first before you put the all seasons cover on as it helps it to stop sweating

Question
Is the cover fitted at the rear or will it cover an Estate?
I want to cover the top of a camper van, 2.1m * 3.2 m with a modest drop along the sides. I think this cover might do it if I am not too fussy about the fit. Is this the most suitable Halfords' product?

As Halfords stores have a wider more varied range of covers I suggest that if you contact your local store they may be able to special order one in for you that is more suitable

Can I leave the cover on if the car is in the garage without the need to take it off every 3 days or so

if you are putting your car in the garage there really is no need to put a car cover over it anyway. The all seasons covers are really meant for cars which are parked outside, so save your money.

This can be left on your car in a garage but we do recommend that it is removed every 3 days or so to let the car breathe and avoid build up of condensation

put a linen large cloth or blanket (not woollen) over the rooftop cover before you put the all seasons cover on, it helps it not to sweat

It is ok to use on soft top convertibles but you must cover the textile hood with a protective cloth to prevent abrasion.

the rainwater will clean it if you keep it on your car or just hose it down and let it dry out again as it is waterproof if you try and wash it you may damage the waterproofing
