All roof boxes are attached to roof bars, so you will need to purchase suitable roof bars so the roof box can be attached to them.

The roof bars are to wide for the U bolt attachment. Is there anything i can buy to get them to fit [such as a Thule 5301 T Bar]?

If your Seat Altea roof bars are aluminium and have a T-slot, then you will be able to buy a Thule T-slot adaptor for these. However, without seeing the bars it is difficult to advise which T-slot adpator will be suitable. The majority of aluminium bars will have T-slot trays to allow accessories to be neatly mounted
