Question
Why wont it save settings?
I had my cd player working fine in my last car, but now in my new car when i turn off the engine, then turn it back on, it doesnt save my settings 'bass,treble..etc...' and it also dosnt remember what track it was on either...

please help this is doing my head in, thanks.

all you need to do is change the two power cables round and will save all settings

you have to swap over the red and yellow cables, eg connect red to yellow and yellow to red instead of yellow to yellow and red to red..

You need to read The manule as says if it happens you need to swop the two power Cables over

Whats the maximum amount of songs/albums that can be stored on the SD CARD?
Have recently purchased this and very pleased but have a question. The first couple of albums i stuck on an SD Card worked fine but the rest of them are not being found. Do you know at all if there is a limit on the amount that can be stored or possibly if there is a limit to the size of the SD CARD that can be used. Many thanks

The SD card has to be formatted in FAT or FAT32, which can only store so many files. I found that the easiest way was to store the albums within folders and you can navigate using the AMS button and the volume control. I have about 300 songs stored on each card and it seems to work fine with that.

There is a limit to the size of the SD card. This unit will play up to 2GB.

This Head Unit will fit into 95% of vehicles.
All fitting is subject to a vehicle inspection.
New fascia or additional wiring may be required for a successful installation.

when i plug it in via the usb connection the ipod says do not unplug and the sendai cd player display just says reading for ever.

it is designed for memory sticks only not ipod/mp3 players. you can only use the aux in with this unit

The iPod should be connected via the front Aux-in. The iPod should funtion with limited functionality.

Yes the SD card can be left in place and the Radio can be listened to by pressing the 'source' button until the radio / tuner source is shown on screen. The SD card will cease playback and the Radio will be heard.

the ipod can only be played through the aux in port usb is designed for memory sticks only
