Question
How does this charger work?
I've just bought a 2-4 Amp Bike It Smart Charger but it's not doing quite what I expected it to.
When connected the top left hand orange light came on to show 'charging' and then the middle 'charged' green light came on when the battery was charged but it doesn't seem to go in to the third 'trickle' stage (been on charge for over 24 hrs). What am I doing wrong?

Also I assume the left hand bottom light is two amp charge and the right hand is four amp (changeover by button)?

PS the instructions with it are rubbish!

It automatically goes into trickle charging once the battery reaches 100% - it says this in the instructions

answer 2
1. When connected the charger defaults to the 2amp charge rate (this can be increased by pressing the rapid charge button to 4amp
2. During this process the 'Charging' LED is lit
3. The charger then goes through a 3 stage charging process to provide the battery optimum charge
4. When completed the 'fully charged' LED lights up.
5. This can then be left safely connected for an indefinite period

If the red LED comes on the cables are incorrectly connected and should be connected correctly.

If you are seeing no LED's lit up at all it may be there's a fault with the charger.
