The acid pack comes within in the packaging but you are required to add it to the battery when you receive it

Yes YTX12-BS (965327) M6014 is the correct battery for this bike. All M6 batteries are 100% leak proof, but after filling the battery, you should let it stand for around 30 minutes so that the AGM seperator can absorb the acid.

The supplier states that the build up around the terminals & lack of charge could be down to a loose fitting terminal. If the terminal is not securely tightened then the battery will not charge correctly causing the battery to eventually drain as its not being charged & this causes the build up on the terminals.

There is no warranty period stated on the Bosch motorcycle batteries due to the nature of the product. As the battery comes dry there is no way of knowing when the acid pack had been added to activate the battery + there is no way to confirm if the battery is being regulary maintined when not in use.
