Most new batteries come with some degree of pre charging. Once fitted to your vehicle the cars alternator will charge the battery up to full capacity.

I bought a battery from Halfords the other day and it came fully charged, so I woud assume that this particular oe does too.

i got this battery last year is is a 3 year warranty battery is this the correct battery for a 110 defender 200tdi if so this is a very poor battery as it will not hold any charge if i leave the light on for 10 mins that would be enough to kill it
slightest bit of cold weather and its back on charge
ps the alternator is fine

It is the right battery.

I don't think these are up to much, I wouldn't buy another.

Get it changed under warranty.
