I have a calcium battery and I have a' Ring 8 Amp Smart Charger RSC8' and it charges and maintains the battery beautifully! It's a little bit expensive, but worth it.

Warranty Enquiry
Hi,
I bought a new HCB096 car battery about 3 years ago. It now does not have sufficient power to crank the vehicle. I don't have a receipt and was wondering if it was possible to check from the serial number if the item is still in warranty. The battery has bar code label 501025 372198 and an impressed serial number A 34664.

No receipt mate they will not want to know,guarantee runs from when its bought im afraid thats everywhere.

i had a hcb075 with 620amps 3 years ago, the new replacement says its the hcb096 which is bigger and does not fit!
the new hcb075 is 540amps which i now have. it does not state this battery for my car bmw e36 318i SE (r reg). the hcb096 is too big, is the hcb075 still okay to use with less amps, 540 to 680amps!

When entering your vehicle details please not whether you have selected the 8V or 16V model of your vehicle as these require different batteries. The 8V model requires the hb096 and the 16V model requires the hb075 range.
If you are still unsure please contact your local store who will be able to advise you further.

Renault +ve screw terminal
The existing battery in my Renault Megane Scenic S Reg diesel has a screw fitting on the positive battery terminal. Does this come with a compatible +ve terminal or where can I get an adaptor to fit too the terminal to make it compatible with the fitting on the Renault battery lead?
