Yes, although there are an increasing number of stereos that cater specifically for MP3 players and iPods, this unit does have a CD mechanism and can happily play CDs and MP3 tracks (as well as tracks compressed in other format such as AAC, WMA and AAtrac) burnt to CD disc. More information on this unit is available here - http://www.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProd...

This model has an input for Sony's own 'safety controller', which also presents a connection for an aftermarket steering wheel remote control adaptor, subject to an adaptor being made to fit the car in question.

yes, i use a 8gb san disk usb stick and just copy all of my music on as normal and plug it in and go.. all i would say is that just copy into the root of the folder as it only supports 120 folders or something.

Question
Why does the unit keep resetting itself?
I save the radio stations, then the next time I start the car again, It wipes all the saved stations and is really frustrating. Any help is gratefully received. Thanks.

Its because the constant live wire and the ignition wire are the wrong way round for your vehicle. The wiring loom has a red and yellow wire with bullet connectors fitted. unplug these bullet connectors and switch the wires, so plug the yellow into the red and the red into the yellow.
