These bulbs are sold as complying with current regulations and should therefore have no problem when it comes to the MOT.

pop into the store or look closely online to check the packing - mine quoted that it was road legal.

Do these bulbs have a blue ring around the tip to produce a blue tint? Or am I confussed with a different model?

These have a blue ring around the tip but i have not noticed an actual blue tint in the light. I think u maybe thinking of the Xenon bulbs. hope this helps.

No, they do not produce a blue ring however there are bulbs that produce this effect on the market.

If you wish to upgrade to a brighter bulb simply select one with the same number eg.472 .

look at the type of bulb already in your car i.e. H4 or H7 along with the voltage and wattage, then you can be sure on getting the right one, first time :)

Some cars have seprate bulbs for main beam and dipped. The 472 bulb will fit your Chevrolet.
