Have just purchased following advice from help desk and can confirm yes the unit fits but due to the high back lights on the new mondeo the lights are blocked and not sutiable - unit returned

I, ve just fitted the Halfords Advanced Rear High mount 3 Cycle Carrier
I, ve just fitted the Halfords Advanced Rear High mount 3 Cycle Carrier. It states in the instructions not to use any hole settings other than those specified for your make and model. However after checking and rechecking the application guide for a Golf V the setting for the extendible feet should be Y and not X as stated in the instructions.

If it fits do it. But have you made sure the levers are up when you place it on your car, as you pull them down which is what tightens it all up.

Halfords Advanced Rear High Mount 3 Cycle Carrier Clamp Fitting Cat. code: 909903-0
I need to replace both Hex bolts on the carrier clamping levers and corresponding threaded receptacle T bar that form part of the large black angle adjusters. I have removed the one shot spring washers on the large angle adjusters to remove the small cross bar that the hex bolt screws into.

go into your local store and they should be able to order the spare parts. I would advice circling the bits you need in the instructions then take that in as well so there is no confusion

unfortunately not. The only options you have with those vehicles are; tow bar (mega expensive) or roof mounted
