do you sell roof cycle carrier equipment to fit a 2008 year ford focus
i need to purchase cycle carrier for the roof of my Focus. I need fittings and bars, how much would the whole lot cost?
i already have roof bars and feet for a Vauxhall meriva will they still fit the focus?

Your bars proberly will fit your new car, you may just need to change the bar feet to fit the car. It will be cheaper this way than buying new bars.,

Ours is a 20 inch wheel, and it fits on there great. Went from Weston super Mare to Southampton and it was fine.

Yes you should be able to carry a kids bike with this carrier. Just make sure all the connections are tight.

No. They are designed to fit a square roof bar with a maximum size of 30mm wide and 25mm deep.

You will need roof bars before you fit this. Once you have bought roof bars then this should be able to be attached easily.

See if you can get an adult bike with pedals alongside the box - if you can then probably yes. bracket is around 10 to 12" from memory - narrower than a bike

As the Halfords 250L Grey Roof Box is a half-width box, it is possible to fit a roof mount carrier to the roof as well. However, this will depend on the width of your vehicle's roof. As a guide, the width of the box is 62cm.

This is not a roof rack, it is the carrier to put on a roof rack. Get your roof rack sorted out (get one with standard square bars rather than aero bars) and then this will fit great.

Depends on your roof bar width. I would reckon probably 3 but maybe 4 if bar is wide enough. I can get 4 on an astra estate.

I don't have the measurements to hand but the widest point is less than the width of the pedals on an adult bike (probably 10 to 12"). If you can get your box on the car hard left or right then see if you bike fits with pedals on, then probably will fit. Then suggest buying one and trying it. You might have to turn the second one round if space is an issue

The cycle carrier fits standard roof bars.
The U bolts for the carrier are 1.5" wide and the adjustment in the carrier will allow the bars to be 18"-36" apart from each other.
Provided your roof bars are compatible with this geometry you should not have a problem.
I have been able to squeeze 4 racks in at a pitch of 9.5" by fitting them in alternate facing directions.

The Halfords Value Roof Mount Cycle Carrier is unsuitable for your Toyota Aygo due to the glass rear hatch - this is the same for all Halfords rear mount cycle carriers. We advise the use of either a roofmount carrier (which requires roofbars) or if your vehicle has a towbar, then this type of carrier is also suitable but please check the nose-weight of your vehicle.

How easy is it to fit a bike onto this rack
Ive just bought a Mazda 2 Sport so the rear mount racks are no good due to having a spoiler. Ive never been keen on the roof mount but (unless I fit a tow bar) I dont have many options. Im concerned that it could be really difficult for me to lift the bike and try to fit it onto the bars and would be grateful for any advice given.
