Yes, that was why I bought it for my passenger with bad back - gives her lumber support and the extra height afforded also seems to help.

Your going to have to need assistance whilst doing this, you clip the hooks onto each other. May be slightly hard, thats why you need assistance. Be sure to use a torch soo you know what you are doing with your hands underneath the seat. May also need to move the seat slightly back soo theres enough room for your hands to go underneath.

With difficulty. I just clipped them to some of the metal gubbins under the seat - they wouldn't reach all the way under.

This product has a wide piece of elastic to go around the back of the seat and some large hooks on elastic to attach it to the underside of the seat

I don't see why not - it doesn't come between the passenger and the air bags on my car - Honda CR-V - once fitted.

No it isn't suitable for use with side air bags
