yes it can as the oil only acts as a medium to transport the treatment to all of the metal surfaces within the engine/Gearbox etc

Yes, Any type or grade of engine and gearbox oil, and can even be added to water if there is metal you need to protect from friction (like a water pump)

yes as it is not part of the oil, it just sits in the oil till it can bond to the engine surface

you can even put it in your coolant, any part of the engine that has a fluid, zx1 can go in it

Yes, I've used it before with Mobile1 in my Diesel Fiat. You can even add it to the fuel in your tank.

Can it be added after a service?
Thick question i know, but i have a hdi diesel engine, i baught the car a few days ago after its service. Normally i put zx1 in when i do the oil but i was wondering if i can just add it in this new oil?

Yes, ZX1 can be added at any time,new or old oil. It is only using the oil to transport itself to treat the metal.

My current usage is for (a) Meriva 1.7
CDti and (b) Lotus Exige S. With this
product therein, I have use both cars
(&others) to motor to Lisbon & back
and found that no measureable
amount of my basic synthetic engine oil was used. I have used it at servcing
& as an additive in normal use.

yes, it can be added in any kind of fluid at any stage, it just thermally bonds to the wearing surfaces when they get hot

Will this work for an LPG car?
I have a Mazda 6 SL and it has just been converted to LPG, can I use this product? Also do I need to drain the original oil or can I add this in as it is.

yes It can be used on a LPG conversion. you can just add it in as it is or after an oil change.

I have checked with the ZX1 technical team, and yes you can treat a LPG engine with Extralube ZX1 , just treat as a normal engine. All instructions come with the product.
