I have models with plastic to plastic plain bearings and would like to find a suitable oil to apply in very small quantities to reduce friction of rotating parts.
The plastics used in the model parts are ABS and polycarbonate. The two bearing surfaces may each be made of either type of plastic in different applications.
If this product is not the right one, do you sell a product that is more suitable but not greasy (i.e. does not attract dirt)?

It doesn't attract dirt but I would be more concerned about potential repairs.
This stuff is no good if you might need to use glue on your models in future. The contamination of silicone will reduce the effectiveness of any glue markedly

Personally I would not put it near the O-ring. If you need to change the gasket seal at any time you might find the seal is less efective if contaminted by silicone

It should be. Petroleum based lubricants will degenerate the rubber running belt. Silicone won't although you might need a lot!
This might seem daft but have you tried talcum powder?

Yes, most air rifles use plastic/rubber seals so silicon lubricant should be suitable.

Friction reduction for sliding.

I try using this lubricant to make an ice hockey puck slide easily across a dry wipe whiteboard. Is it suitable for this task, and would any of the ingredients damage any equipment involved (rubber puck, plastic whiteboard and wooden hockey stick)?

Hi, thanks for your interest in 3-IN-ONE Professional Silicon Spray Lubricant 400ml.
The silicone will make the puck slide better, light sprays will be best as solvent in product will affect rubber and some plastics with excess contact (soaked in).
This is not the use it was designed for, therefore we cannot say for sure it will be OK.
