Halfords Automatic Transmission & Power Steering Fluid DIII does meet the Dexron III specification however the question of whether it is the correct product for the automatic transmission in your BMW 325i is much more difficult to answer. There are a number of different options for automatic transmission fluid for BMWs that vary depending on the exact model number of the transmission fitted to the vehicle. For this reason we would recommend that you consult your main dealer for further information as to the correct product for this application.

It is unlikely that Halfords Automatic Transmission & Power Steering Fluid DIII will be suitable for use in either the transmission or the power steering system of your Peugeot 206. To confirm which is the correct product we would need more information about the vehicle such as the age, engine size and fuel type. We would also need to know whether the intended use is in the transmission or as a power steering fluid.

We would need some more details about your vehicle to make an absolute recommendation however, most modern Audis use Halfords Central Hydraulic Fluid in their power steering systems. If your handbook recommends 'CHF11S or equivalent' then Halfords Central Hydraulic Fluid will be the right product. Another good indicator is the colour of the fluid already in your vehicle. If it is greenish in colour it is likely to be Halfords Central Hydraulic Fluid. If it is any other colour or you are still in doubt then please seek further confirmation before using any product.

Unfortunately we have no listing for power steering fluid for this vehicle which usually means that it is a specialist fluid that is only available from the manufacturer. We would therefore suggest that you give Vauxhall a call and find out what fluid they recommend for this vehicle before making your choice.
