will this stop my car paint from fading?

No,as it's really a preparation product.It cleans the surface,fills in minor swirl marks,and leaves behind a small amount of protection.If you want to stop your cars paint from fading,i would avoid car washes,wash the car carefully yourself,polish with Super resin,then seal the paint with either Extra gloss protection,or High Definition Wax.Re apply the wax,or Extra Gloss protection every month.
