No, Mobil 1 0W-40 meets the MB 229.5 specification but not MB 229.51 which is effectively a low SAPS version of 229.5. If you need a 229.51 oil then, depending on your application, you might like to consider Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5W-30 which include MB 229.51 among its many claims.

Question
Which engine oil do I need?
I'm looking for a fully synthetic very high quality engine oil for a 2008 Chrysler Voyager turbo diesel (auto). 4,000 miles covered. Needs a first top up. Is Mobil 1 the best option and if so which particular spec? Thanks.

We believe the oil specification for your vehicle is a B4 5W30. The best match for this would be Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5W30.
