Question
I'm 5ft 8-9 what size should i get 18" 20"?
I am 5ft 8-9, and i had my mind set on buying this bike, i tired out the 20" that was on show in halfords and my tippy toes were holding me up (i was in tight trousers) , a halfords bike team recommended i buy the 18", im not very knowledgeable about bike sizes so i assumed he was right, i have put a deposit on the bike and i assume it is currently being built, im worried the 18" will look like a kids bike? what should i do? and what size should i have gotten?

20" is for 6ft and minimum 33 inside leg. 18 inch is fine for 5ft 8 so long as your inside leg is around 30". Below 30 then yu'll have to choose between fitting your leg or your torso

I am 5' 8" and have just bought the 18inch. It wont look like a kids bike. If you buy the 20" you will be over stretching continuously, unless you have extra long legs and arms.

My son is 5'7" I got him the 18" frame. This fitted him well, the seat is right in the stem.

Well, I am 6 foot 1 and I have the 20" version, even though 2 inches doesn't sound like much of a difference, it makes a huge difference.. My friend who is probably around 5Ft 3 tried an 18 Inch version of the Vengance.. too big.. 17 Inch other bike.. Just right, In the end he got the 16 inch Vengance!
I think you should go for the 18 inch version!
