Yes. Been doing likewise for the past 2 months with a micro-fibre cloth.

This product in essence is for use on dashbords and interior trim namely vinyl. It can be used on the exterior of the vehicle but isnt really intended and will add no value if you add a coating to your rear light clusters or or front lights.
