My son is 6 a taller 6 than some boys. He can ride a bike. He fits this just with sadle down. 20inch was just to big but 16 far to small.

My six (next week) year old can just manage it and he's average height for his age

My son is 5 and approx 115 centimetres tall (he is in tip toes when sat on the saddle with feet/toes on the floor). Hope that helps. On the ticket in the shop I think it said suitable for 6-8 yrs, but it is more about the height to be honest.

I have bought this for my grandson who is will be 8 yrs old in April. I would say, looking at the bike it would be suitable for ages 7 - 9.

only if you could get stabilisers for it. Personally I would just choose a bike that has them already.

Absolutely has the styling of a larger bike, but is great for a first bike. I've got it for my lad and he's still on stabilisers.

Yes, I would say so. It is strong and sturdy and also has good brakes. Others have said they have had stabilisers fitted so maybe that would help.

Yes, my 6yr old has just gotten this as his first bike without stabelisers and he is managing fine.

My son is 4 years, turning 5 years in a few weeks and I have bought this bike for him. He is extremely tall for his age and I was struggling to find a suitable bike to fit him but also it had to be good as a first bike. I spoke to the staff at halfords and took my son into the shop. They popped him onto the bike and explained 18" was his correct size and this bike was very eye catching. We have attached stabilisers because at the moment he doesn't know how to ride a bike then we will remove them once he feel comtable. I can't wait to see him riding his new bike off santa clause, good luck with your search but I would recommend this bike

Yes but would have to remove stunt pegs, may need to be careful on type of stabilisers used
