Question
Just bought Halfords washer part (HWP6) - non return valve. Which way round does it go?
One end is black, the other white. Which end is on the pump side and which is on the jet side? Thanks.

Actually the following answer from the Halfords team is incorrect :
"The pipe from the pump goes to the white side and the pipe to the jet goes on the black side."

For the current part HWP6 the correct answer is the opposite - white side to the jet, black side to the pump.
