Yes it has a vent and from our experience the material is light shower proof but not sure if it would stand up to heavy rain.

The Halfords Pop-up Gazebo with Side Panels is vented and is water-resistant. It can be made waterproof by applying Fabsil Liquid 1L which can be found on halfords.com using item code 203518.
