I'm 5'9" and it's if anything slightly long in reach. Not a child's bike at all.

The size quoted is the actual size - the bike uses compact geometry. It is a 58cm equivalent.

Question
Virtuoso 2011 vs Virtuoso
Hi there,

I was just wondering how the 2011 version was better than the previous version? I'm a relatively new bike user, so wondering if the newer one was worth the extra?

There is very little real difference- the frame/fork are the same material with new tube profiles and new graphics, and the groupset is a newer 2011 version.

Question
Brake rubs when pedalling hard or whilst standing.
Bought this bike a couple of weeks ago and when riding it the other day noticed that when pedalling whilst standing or pedalling hard whilst seated that the back brake rubs with each downstroke. Do i need to adjust the brake or is it something else.

This could be caused my a number of different issues; such as wheel alignment or brake setup. If you purchased the bike is less than 6 weeks ago then you are entitled to a Free 6 Week Safety Check at your local Halfords store. Please return the bike to your local Halfords store where a member of our trained Bikehut staff will book in the bike for you and complete a thorough safety check.
