How do you get the Demo mode to stay switched off permanently? I have carried out what it states in the manual but every time the engine is turned off and back on again you have to go through the whole procedure again.

If you have turned it off according to the user manual then there is a problem with the connection lead (orange) it looks like the stereo is not holding the setting in its memory, does the CD resume from the last track played? if not the memory cable (orange) is not connected to the player CHECK THE WIRING ACCORDING TO THE DIAGRAM (UNDER THE HEAD UNIT)

The following reply is from JVC technical help: "They only remember the setting of the demo mode if the yellow permanent 12V supply is connected. The main purpose of this permanent 12V is to supply the tuner preset memory, but it also supplies the demo mode memory. Do you know or can you find out if this supply has been connected to a permanent 12V supply in the vehicle concerned? This must be permanently 12V and not switched by the ignition key." If you please re-submit your question with further detail or contact your local Halfords store.

this comes with the standard iso cable that connects the head unit to the vehicle, if you have an imported vehicle e.g Toyota then it requires a harness adapter (PC2-17-4)
