Hi, thanks for your interest in Halfords Advanced Cyclonic Wet and Dry Car Vacuum. Yes the Filter can be removed and cleaned. If necessary it can be washed in lukewarm water as well. Damaged or very dirty filter can be replaced by ordering from 08456017834. Hope this Helps. Thank You.
