I bought this unit around a week ago and have installed myself. I have got the whole unit working, cd, dvd, sat nav, radio etc... but I cannot store radio channels. I store them fine when the radio is on, but when I turn it off, it loses all memory and all stations need to be re-stored. any ideas?

swap the red and yellow wires around so its red to yellow and yellow to red out the back of the head unit

This sounds like it has been in incorrectly installed.
Your local Halfords store should be able to advise further & offer fitting if required.

I'm going to university in manchester, and am really worried that it might get stolen. So is there anyway you can take the face off the front so you can't see that it's a DVD player/sat nav etc?

no the face doesnt come off but you get a cover which makes it obvious you have something to hide

The front panel cannot be removed on this DVD player, however there is a front
cover that is designed to fit over the unit giving the appearance that nothing is fitted.

Yes it should be possible to get this fitted at a weekend.
However please check with the store where you will be having the fit done, to make sure they have time available.

how do I connect an iPOD

I have inherited a Navsure N400 with my car - I had to buy an SD card and am relatively happy with it - although it is on its way out as it takes 20 minutes to find the GPS now...

I have an iPOD Nano - I believe I can connect in into the AUX-IN, where can the AUX IN port be found?? Surely it is not behind the head unit as where would my iPOD go if it was?

The Aux-in is located at the rear of the unit.
You will need to install a cable into the units & its usually fed to the glove box, the iPod can be placed here to.
The unit will need to be removed to install the aux-in cable.

Are you able to find out what was the problem with the refurbed product you are purchasing.. Is product also fully gauranteed. It says only can be purchased online can it still be fitted at local store

This is a reconditioned unit and comes with a 1 year replacement warranty, through Halfords.com. Repairs are not available through Halfords stores.
It can be fitted by your local Halfords store, please check the fitting option on the product page, when you purchase the unit.

This Head Unit will fit into 95% of vehicles.
All fitting is subject to a vehicle inspection.
New fascia or additional wiring may be required for a successful installation.
For more specialist information please contact your local Halfords store who can also advise you further and offer fitting.
There is a port available for a rear view camera.
