Well in regards to your tweeters, i'd imagine you'd have a component set comprised of tweeter and woofer or something similar. Either way, it should have its own crossover? You would only need one +/- terminal for each set of components on either side?
Also, yes the 4x45 watt means there is 4 outputs. So typically, your front speakers (woofer AND tweeter) and your rears (6x9s or whatever).
This headunit also has a sub output, so you can also have one of those badboys.
so not really, there is a possibility of 5 speakers (7 if you include the tweeters as being seperate) and thats without using an amp!

The Sony CDX-GT25, in common with most other head units has four speaker outputs designed to work with speaker loads in a 4 Ohm range. This means that as long as the load applied to the amplifier inside the stereo doesn't vary far from the 4 Ohms it expects to see, it should work fine.
