Can this be used on chrome stainless steel exhaust pipe?

If this product is not suitable for chrome stainless steel exhaust pipe, then can you please recommend which product at halford is suitable for that purpose?

I have used it for years on all types of metals,inc chrome exhauts, on various motorcycles and never had a problem.
It is also ok on the stainless steel down pipes of my current Triumph.

Yes I've used it on mine, just becareful of how hot your pipes get as it could being to smoke!!

Can this be used on steel bolts/nuts on the wheel?

Hello,
My wheel's bolts/nuts seems to be rust and I look for a suitable cleaner that will clean these bolts/nuts up and shine those.
Is this product ideal for that purpose?

if your already got rust, you're too late. You might be lucky and the worst will come off using this polish, just keep on top of it and most people won't notice ;)

The Autosol Cleaner removes corrosion, tarnish, and discolouration from chrome, aluminium, stainless steel, brass and copper
Restores and polishes to a brilliant shine.
It depends how bad your bolts are as this may not be a powerfull enough cleaner.

Can this be used on stainless steel bolts/nuts (inside the lacquered wheel)?

Thanks for the answer to my previous question - I got one more question (sorry abt this) - my stainless steel bolts/nuts are located within my lacquered alloy wheel.
Can I use this product on bolts/nuts safely, even when it's within lacquered wheel?

We do not recommend the use of this product in or around lacquered alloy wheels.
Try the Mer Alloy & Steel Wheel Cleaner 500ml (itemcode: 772475) or the Turtlewax Specialised Car Alloy Wheel Cleaner (itemcode: 538280)

Hi, thanks for your interest in Halfords. There is no difference between 636217Autosol Metal Polish and 217257 Autosol Metal Polish.
