My handbook says that the headlight bulbs should be anti-UV 55W bulbs, due to the plastic lenses. Are these bulbs suitable ?

Yes all of our bulbs are UV-Cut and as such are suitable for plastic headlamps.

I have used these bulbs before and found them to last just as long as a normal bulb. Hope this helps!

All performance bulbs have a lower life expectancy than a standard product. The increased brightness of the bulb is due to the filament burning hotter and brighter which will reduce the service life of the bulb

I've found these bulbs to be bright enough - I struggle driving @ nightime so I need bright bulbs - but not too bright so as to cause a distraction to other drivers.
