pop the bonnet and have a quick look at yours ie is it H4 and what is the voltage/watts - then compare. Or just phone up your local store - they're more than willing to help!

yes, just make sure it the same type ie H4/ H7 and the voltage/ wattage.

take your bulb out, compare type ie H4 or H7 and the voltage/ watt, get the same and you'll be fine.

Please go to our car bulbs page where you will be asked for your vehicle details. This will return the most appropriate bulb for your vehicle. If you wish to upgrade to a brighter bulb make a note of the fitting type eg. HBU 'XXX' and then select a super brilliant bulb with the same fitting.

According to our details there could be two bulbs depending on the type of headlamps you have.

For twin lamps with/without gas discharge you will need a 477 bulb.

if your vehicle has single lamps then this 472 bulb should be suitable.

replacement dipped beam bulbs
i have 1998 megane classic, i wish to replace the dipped headlight bulbs for brighter ones, i am concerned about the extra heat they will produce can you tell me which ones will be the best for white light output and that they will not melt any components within the headlight unit.

its the gas thats in side the bulb not the higher power output. shouldn't have any probs

All our headlamp bulbs are safe to use without melting any parts of the headlamp assembly. Choose from Brilliance, Super Brilliance and Extreme Brilliance bulbs.
