It works on pressure, so you'll use as much as it takes to get your A/C system up to the right pressure (instructions are on the can, but it is really easy). There is more than enough in the can to top up the system in your car, and I would expect that you'd have two thirds of the can left over even after you've finished the job. Just make sure to wear safety gear as per instructions.

It'll probably be enough for one complete refill from empty in most cars, and certainly two or three topups in a system that is working but not to full efficiency.

It depends on the refrigerant level that is in the car to start with.
Some cars only need topping up whilst others need a complete recharge.
We suggest you take your vehicle to a store where they will do a free check to assess how much refrigernat will be needed, any left over in the unit is for you to take home.

The refill product for the gauge is the SD134 (195547) at £19.99. This comes with an extra hose but not a gauge.
This line is not currently on line but will be added in the next few days

Yes for sure as I did on my C-Max TDI 2.0 54 Reg. The refill point is in the engine at the back left (thin rod like tube poking up just back left of the engine cover).

If the adaptor seems too small I would suggest that the one you are trying to connect to is the high pressure side.

answer 2
The reason it won't fit is because the port under the bonnet is the larger high side port which is the wrong one, the low side smaller port is located under the drivers side wheel arch. This is a difficult fit so we recommend you have it fitted by a trained store colleague.

This product is compatable with a Volvo S60. The low side port is located just below the power steering reservoir. You will need to move the reservoir to one side to reach the port.

Question
R134a re-charge canisters
Am i allowed to buy R134a in a canister for my car? As i have been told by local garage that it can cause skin burns and frost bite?

You can buy them, to use with the gauge and hose that comes with this product. Your garage is right, R134a is not to be messed with lightly, which is why you must wear protective gear when using this product. Get it wrong, and a squirt of R134a into the eye or onto your skin, and you'll be in serious trouble... follow the instructions and use common sense, and all should be OK.
