Would an FM transmitter for an iphone effect a paired Parrot?

No as they operate on totally different frequencies.
The parrot runs on bluetooth which is 2400-2480 MHz. FM radio (which is what the clearcast uses) is more like 90Mhz.

An FM transmitter should not have any effect in regards to handling calls with an iPhone, although there may be some restrictions to music playback. However this is all dependent on how the iPhone itself handles the FM transmitter.

You connect your ipod or iphone or whatever device you are using (it must have a 3.5mm stereo audio socket - most smartphones have these) to the clearcast. You connect the clearcast to your car's power socket. You switch the clearcast on and press the clearcast button; it will show an FM frequency on the display. Tune your cars radio to this frequency, and music pours forth from the speakers!

The iTrip connect via a spare FM channel on your car stereo or other device. SmartScan finds the cleanest frequency to play your music through your car or home stereo speakers

It depends what version it is - if its a version that plugs in to the cigarette lighter in a car - then, yes it will charge the iPod whilst you are using it..

Griffin dont currently list the iPhone 4s as compatible, just the iPhone 4.
