Best thing to do will be using the Maxi Cosi website, look the made of your car there and will told you straight away if you can fit it or not. I have done that before purchased the seat and the base

Maxi-Cosi have advised that BMW have not tested the base in this specific vehicle and therefore we recommend that you visit one of our 460 stores where a trained colleague will be able to advise and fit a suitable seat in your vehicle.

This seat is suitable for fitting with a 3 point seatbelt in the rear seats behind the passenger and driver. It is not suitable for use in your Mini Cooper with the FamilyFix Base.
