WRT previous answers, I have the following to add.

I have been operating my laptop from this powerpack for nearly 2 hours and it is still going. The power supply for the laptop is rated at 240V / 2A, which would equal 580 watts, although I would imagine that it actually draws much less than this. With a 20Ah battery, in theory, this should power a 2A device for 10 hours.

Further, the 2.5A rating on your plug may refer to the fuse and not the actual power draw (I believe I read somewhere that my laptop actually runs at 190 watts or about 0.8A).

It is possible that it would power your appliance, but not if it really draws 2.5A

answer 2
No, not this one.
Amps x Volts = Watts
2.5 x 250 = 625 Watts
Inverter supplying 230 volts is only rated at 300 Watts and it does not state if this is Peak Power, ie for a short period or Continuous power level.

answer 3
No.Your appliance is rated at 600 watts. The maximum wattage of the inverter on this power pack is 300 watts. This will run a 300w product for approx. 30 minutes.

These devices are not meant to power anything that requires great Wattage for heating like Hairdryers. Every hairdryer I have looked at requires between 1500 and 2000 Watts power.
The device could power your hairdryer on blow cold only but what is the point.
These devices are for running low wattage equipment like LAPTOPS or SMALL TV's or charging your mobile.
If you require high Wattage when away from a mains electricity supply you will have to buy a petrol generator capable of supplying 2000 Watts and they cost anything from£600 to £1000.

AC Charger Ref : Model L4D 135050R 13.5V DC 500mA The charger will become warm during charging - please remember DO NOT attempt to power any 12V/240V accessories or use the Powerpack whilst charging
If you just require mains power try the Ring Powersource Inverter 150W (Code 178269) or the Ring Powersource Inverter 300W (Code 178335)
Power of this pack is dependant entirly on the amp/hour of the appliance connected to it.

Question
battery lights powerpack 200
I have charged my Halfords powerpack 200 for more than the suggested 36 hours but the battery level lights still show one red one amber and two green. Should this be four greens?

This is correct your battery is fully charged. The green and amber lights will go out as your battery level decreases, leaving you only with the red 'warning' light to show that the battery is almost empty.

No, the lights do not change colour. The more charge in the powerpack, the more lights come on.

If the battery was drained you would only get 1 red. 4 lights means that the pack has a good charge.

The charging light will change colour while charging - orange for charging, and green for charged.

No its a power pack not a battery charger. It can jump start a low charged battery but will not act as a full charger.

Based on a 20AH battey, theroetically you should have a 5 hour running time given that you are drawing 4A so I would expect a good 4 hours from a fully charged and good condition battery. Perhapes Halfords could clarify further how they expect 3 Hours?

Thanks, Andy

This 3 hour running time for a mini fridge is typical and what we would expect running from a power pack. They are designed to be used in a vehicle with the engine running with the coolbox keeping the contents cool when the engine is turned off.

Running the inverter does create heat which is cooled by the in built fan. This is totally normal.

The mains charger supplied is the best method of charging the power pack but the cigarette lead can be used when on a journey. Suggest the customer checks that the cigarette lighter has power and has not blown a fuse.
There is also a fuse in the cigaratte plug which should also be checked
