I recently bought a PORTABLE POWERPACK 100 from halfords. I have lost the charging lead. Do you sell the seperatly and if so what is the price.

However you can the manufacturer directly on 0113 2137339 to purchase a replacement charging lead for this portable powerpack

Can I use a 2Amp regulated 12v charger instead of the 500mA charger provided to speed up charging time.
The charger is designed for regulated charging of sealed lead acid batteries and is currently used with a 12AHr battery.

A dedicated charger is supplied with the Halfords Power PAck 100.
A higher capacity charger will invalidate the warranty and may shorten battery life.

This is a power pack and not a battery charger, The included 500 w trickle battery charger is suitable for the power pack only.
Car battery chargers are available at online or in stores.

I purchased one of these today at Halfords, Exeter.
There is no users manual or guarantee in the box. Is this correct?
The plastic bag containing the leads appears to have been opened but the contents were not checked by the checkout operator.

No, we recommend the Halfords Power Pack 200.
However this power pack will not function correctly for jump starting unless a residual voltage of 2.5v or more is detected from a vehicle battery
