use these for holding open the tent door like an awning.

You'll need the extra guylines included to hold it in place.

Personally I prefer to just roll the door up

answer 6
You should also find two extra guy ropes. The spikes on the tops of the poles fit through the metal eyes at the bottom of one of the doors. This means that you can have a canopy effect with one of the doors, and this is tethered by using the two extra guy ropes. This took us a while to figure out too!

Yes, they are bedroom pods with integral groundsheets & have double flaps. This gives three ptions - open, mosquito net closed only (see through) or both flaps closed (privacy).

There are 2 bedrooms for this tent, one at each end. The bedrooms themselves have a zipped door to to them to make them a bit more private and keep the bugs out of the sleeping area, however, there is no divide in the actual bedrooms themselves.

Question
Pins on end of poles
Could you be more precise about how the pins fit onto the end of the poles? The tent has metal rings attached to tape that spans the floor, with small metal pegs attached to the rings. Its not obvious how these attach to the poles. Do the poles go into the ground through the rings? Do the metal pegs go into the ground and the poles? Not obvious how these fit and the instructions are very unclear.

There are six pins in total. One for the end of the three poles. Strange as it may seem, the pins simply push into the bottom of each pole. I Know, it doesnt seem right, as they are loose but thats how it goes.

Metal pegs fit into holes in the ends of the poles, they then sit on the ground. Then use pegs through the rings to hold tent in place.

the long end of the pin simply goes inside the hollow end of the pole.

Yes its strange as its not a proper fit or what you'd expect, but when you put both pins into the opposite ends of the poles the poles bend into shape taking the tent with it.

Question
Do the fibreglass poles hold together?
I had a halfords family tent pack and had to tape the fibreglass joints together to stop them coming apart when pushing them through and pulling them out of the loops. It was a nightmare and i don't want the same again.

The Fibreglass poles are lots of small poles that are joined together with an elistic rope. This is because you only need 3 poles but they are very long. For storage purposes, you pull out of tent the three long poles then pull the mettre long pieces out of metal sleeves. As they come out the elestic rope comes also. ie. lots of poles joined together by elastic and are folded up for storage purposes.

Each of the poles is as any tent will have with the elastic through so obviously you should only push them in and push them carefully out again, but they slot in really well together so only pulling will separate them which you should only do to take them apart to pack them.

The poles are about 2.5m in length roughly and fold down into about eight segments of 30cm each that are held together by an elasticated wire that runs up the middle of each pole. You shouldn't need any tape to hold them together.

Seating and eating area has a ground sheet which connects via velcro to all sides (keeps water out for sure) only one side has a ground sheet under the sleeping pod. dont know why you dont get two ground sheets?? The one you do get also has velcro to keep water out. Note i have used the tent without the grounds sheets for the sleeping pods without any issues.

All you need to do is insert the pin directly into the end of the pole itself. As you try to insert the second pin in the other end of the pole you will have to bend the pole with quite some tension to get the pin to insert.

the long ends of the pins very simply just get placed into the hollow centres of the poles.

The tension holds them in place
