No. The extra (small) ground sheet is for if you want to take out a bedroom pod and have the extra space. so the idea is you still have 2 bedrooms.

Hi, the large one is for the living area and the small one is only needed if you don't wish to use a bedroom pod as the pods have there own sewn in sheets.

The bedroom groundsheets are integral to the bedroom pods. You should have one large ground sheet, one small groundsheet and three bedroom pods. You need to always use the large groundsheet and two of the pods; the remaining space will either be groundsheet *or* bedroom.

The bedrooms are complete units with their own sewn-in ground sheets. The large ground sheet is for the living area and the smaller on is to attach to the larger one if only two bedrooms are used.

The pins go in the end of the poles.

Trying to remember myself but think the way we did it was to slacken off the Black strapping attatched at the base of the tent, feed the poles through the main DOME part of the tent first and fix them to the middle pins at the back of the tent and then i think the outer pins on the front. Feed the other poles in for bedroom ready.
once you have lifted the dome part up dont forget to tie tent to poles in center first, the rest should be easy as it will sit as you do the rest, bedroom poles go onto other pins.

We also found the instructions unclear but had the benefit of lots of space when pitching for the first time.

One pin goes in to the bottom of each pole so where there's three pins together that's where three poles will meet; likewise two pins = two poles. With all the pins located, get pegs in through a couple of the elastic loops at the back of the tent then nip inside and straighten out the black straps to get the footprint correctly aligned.

Once you're past this stage the tent takes shape and it gets much easier to complete the pitch.

Hi, I have asked the same thing but they don't do them for urban escape range, i have the kurai 6 myself. Would suggest try gooutdoors site or similar as some sell off the roll, if you give measurements then cut to size, or try looking for outwell etc similar type tent that does a carpet range

The pins are on the inside on the ground attached to the straps that hold the tent in shape.

The bedrooms are light, they dont black out any light.

As soon as the sun comes up you know about it, good for early risers. Stops the light a little, but not much.
