this oil will be OK for your car i use it in my 94 frontera 2.3 turbo diesel and never had any problems with it

The correct product to use in a 2008 Pegeuot 407 2.0 HDI is Halfords 5W/30 Peugeot/Volvo Fully Synthetic.

What oil should I use for my car? My car is a Renault Laguna 1.9 dti 1999.
I have used your search car facility to check what oil is recommended for use in my car ( Renault Laguna 1.9 dti 1999) and I was given the option below as the recommended oil:

"Halfords 15W/40 Enhanced Diesel Oil 5L is formulated to the same protection and performance standards as the leading brands. Suitable for most non turbo diesel engines."

However I have one query as my car is a turbo diesel. Why would I put an engine oil "suitable for most non turbo diesel engines" in my car?

Halfords 15w40 Enhanced Mineral Dieseil Oil is the correct product for your 1999 Renault Laguna 1.9 DTI. This product is suitable for both turbo charged and normally aspirated engines.

You don't give us a model year for your car but the oil you mention would only be suitable for models up to 2001. After that you probably require Halfords 5W/40 Fully Synthetic Diesel Oil (282657).
