Wrong way round, viewing from the front with the terminals nearest to you the positive is on the right and negative on the left.

If you look at the battery from the end, with the terminals on the left side, the positive is nearest you and the negative is furthest away

This battery is a Bosch S5008 and viewed from the front with the terminals closest to you, positive is on the right and negative on the left.

If it's a sealed battery (i.e. no maintenance) used 'sealed' otherwise the battery could get hot

It shouldn't really make any difference although I would just use the standard setting, as although this is an advanced type of battery its designed for normal car use and as such is not especially critical as far as charging is concerned, that is not in the same way as a non-spillable sealed cell device would be that DOES require current monitoring to avoid cell overheating.

You should use the sealed charge setting for this battery.
