The faceplate is removable.... there are too many wires to remove full unit and at the price you would be unlucky for theft these days without faceplate

you need to connect the Green/White wire to the +12v side of the hand brake. Alternatively you can turn off the warning in the settings but you would be breaking UK law if the driver could see a video whilst driving. If you were to fit screens in tha back of your vehicle they would still function but the display on the unit would be blankes

For a radio to save stations and settings it needs to have a constant and switched power supply. The big Yellow wire going through the black box is the constant live and the small red wire marked ACC is the switched live. The Switched live connects up to a power source which is only powered when the ignition is on (I.E the heater fan switch.) This ensures that you cant leave the radio on all the time. You should also check that the Yellow wire is powered constantly, even when the ignition is off. If not then you may have to run a new wire up from the fusebox- making sure there is a fuse in it- its a bit of a fiddle but dont just rely on the ISO plug making it all nice and simple ;-)#

Hope This Helps!

there is an extra wire which instead of fitting to the handbrake switch it has to be earthed then you can view the dvd while driving but i wont recommend that due to road safety.the extra head screens need to be wired up to the back of the stereo

Please note that for audio/visual applications, the screen must not be visible to the driver while the car is in motion. "Our professional in-store and mobile fitting services will take all reasonable steps to ensure that, at the time of fitting, installations comply with current legislation."
