Solid parts and tools are covered by the lifetime guarantee. Moving parts and mechanisms are not covered by the guarantee.
If there is a manufacturing fault or weakness that causes the tool to fail we will replace it. Natural wear and tear on moving parts such as the ratchet mechanism would not be covered.

I bought this excellent socket set 2 weeks ago, but my 2 year old son managed to get hold of it and has lost the 11mm socket!

halfords sell individual sockets in store. i am sure you will find an 11mm socket in store whitch fits into the socket set box
