YEs it can, in fact it cannot be attached to a tow bar (assuming you mena one used for a trailer or caravan.

This product uses the towing eyes built into the car (or newer cars the towing may be screwed in, you'll find the eye with the spare wheel and tools)

Yes, as long as you have the standard towing ring under the bumper then it will attach to this. In fact the fitting won't go onth a standard 50mm ball. It will fit the ball and pin type.

You have to have someone sitting in the car behind to do the brakes and steering as we found out the other day. Hope this helps.

Cheers.

I believe so, as the vehicle being towed is basically only a trailer, not a vehicle in it's own right. (But check with the old bill first!)

Additional insurance etc. is required for towing vehicles (unless in an emergency) Best to check with your insurance company to see if you will be covered on your current policy (unlikely)
If you are towing the vehicle to an Mot testing station then it can be towed on a road, but not to just tow from one place to another

This light weight portable device is the next step up from a flexible towing rope, It is designed for emergency recovery, and has a maximum towing speed of 15mph.
Therefore it would not be suitable for towing a vehicle over such a long distance. We would recommend professional recovery

Yes the Halfords Steel Tow Bar should fit your vehicle
Reference fitting - Whilst it requires some knowledge about fixing points etc to be able to fit it is relativly straightforward but this all depends how much knowledge you have.
A license is not required for a one off towing operation EG emergency towing of a broken down vehicle off a public road to a place of repair.
